The first one is "Mountian View" which visits under several different IPs.

Second one is with the IP 72.14.194.37 which is from New York. This one makes repeated visits throughout the day under this same IP.

So how are these different? Which ones the regular googlebot and what is the other one for? I run adwords, but they run out of a seperate directory with landing pages, and none of the bots are entering these pages, just the index page...

Anyone know any info? Im not concerned at all, more curious as to how the Googlegiant works.

I don't know that you can differentiate the bots through the IP address. The key is in the user-agent string - Googlebot, Googlebot-Mobile, Googlebot-Image, Mediapartners-Google or Adsbot-Google.

And with the cache sharing that Google now does, one bot's take is supposed to be pooled with the results of other bots, for whatever kind of analysis Google needs to do for your urls.
