Removing Dupe IP URLs That Were Indexed

Our site was indexed by IP number which caused a dupe penalty. Per reinclusion request google did remove the cache on all these 14,000 urls and said to be patience, that the spider will visit again and these Ip numbers pages will drop away.

Anyway to speed up this process. Should I link to the IPs from a regularly indexed page to help out the process? Should I submit them one by one to Add URL?

Surely someone else has been here, what did you do? Or any ideas at all?

This has worked for me on pages I've dropped from my sites when I did it right away. But once they go supplimental they seem to be there forever no matter what you try.

That begs the question, does duplicate sites that made it in to the supplimental index, do they continue to hurt your site as far a duplicate filters?

I'm not sure, there have been so many opinions on this. I like to get them off and not in supplimental just in case.
