Meta Tag Content-Language and Google in UK

I have a .com site called <edited> which is hosted in Germany. I find that when I try to find my own site using Google and opt for "UK" only, the site does not appear.

A friend suggested that the Meta tag which sets the language to EN-GB will help persuade Google that I am really a UK site after all?

Any comments or help greatly appreciated.

Gary

There's two things you need a .co.uk or tobe hosted in the uk.

The TLD or the hosting IP address location is what governs this.

Some people say links from the uk, but in my experience this helps with ranking not google.co.uk index inclusion.
