Is there any meaning in the google cache date?
For instance the google cache date for my site is mostly June/July 2005. Is this the last cache of my site that google perceived as good? Or is this a cache of my site when something went wrong? Could it be google is comparing my site to this last cache and sees a lot of differences (since I made a lot of changes) and therefore dosen't trust my site now? All except my index page are supplmental. Just wondering.

It's the most recent cache of your site. That's it.

You need to stop worrying about Google and start worrying about your site - there's clearly a very serious problem.

Start thinking about what that problem might be - duplicate content is the first possibility - and then work on it.

Google will be no help to you until you fix your site.

A very old cache date might indicate a page or site problem.
