Hi everyone, I wanna change my static page website to a wordpress weblog. I know the pages of weblogs get indexed faster. But can anyone tell me if the Google keeps the pages of a weblog in it's index indefinitely like it does static pages? I don't want my articles to disappear from the Google Index after a while. Does anyone know?

Regards,

Robert

Pages from any website are retained or discarded from the index according to the rules Google sets up. As far as I know, there is no difference between static or dynamic urls, blog or ecommerce, or any such taxonomy. What matters most is the usefulness and popularity of the page -- how many times it gets accessed from search results, and especially how well it gets linked to.
