I have a 3 month old site that I just recently added about 100 pages of content to. Last week I noticed that all of a sudden I was indexed for these new pages and ranking very nicely. I was all of a sudden getting a great increase in traffic from google. Adsense took a nice climb too.

Now, yesterday, I pretty much got nothing for traffic. I took a look at my past stats and the search terms that were getting ranked in the top 5 are now GONE. I have just lost all my traffic. did google just make another update? I don't do any blackhat, I have not made any major changes other than keep adding new content. Anyone have any idea of what happened and how long this might last?

New domains (and 3 months is pretty new) can take many months to become stable in the search results. Google has a set of filters that sort of "test" new domains, sometimes showing them and sometimes not, to see if Google users think they are good quality.

This situation can take many months to "fix" itself, or it may happen quicker. The best thing is to continue to build in every signal of quality that you can.

I believe Matt Cutts has stated that the depth that a site would be indexed was determined by the Page Rank of a site.

Since the roll out of big daddy, in my experience, you need good inbound link punch to increase the number of pages indexed.

Yes, new pages may appear for a short period, but this doesn't mean they will be there for long.

Fresh pages, Fresh links are here today gone tomorrow.
