Same Blog Content on Blogger & Wordpress.

Hi Friends

I have just started my blog on wordpress. My query is -- if i start blog on blogspot with same posts (sequence, content everything) will it be duplicate content?

What do you think? Same content, posted same times same days...

The only difference is the technology or software you are using.

So basically, YES!

ok ... so if i want to use one of them which is better Blogger or Wordpress ... actually i want to use google Adsense and i think we cant use adsense on free wordpress blog but we can on blogger.

am i rite?
please can anyone compare these two softwares?

and what if i made a bit changes in content bcz content is purly mine not taken from any other place.

what can i do to avoid duplicate content with bit effort?

Duplicate content will usually cause one or the other url to be filtered from the results -- that's not a penalty, just a filter. So you could just let Google sort it out. Or you could spring for a paid hosting account for a domain of your own and only host your content there.

I'd advise that you NOT look for ways to get two different urls to rank for the same content - you and Google will be working against each other all the way.

Are you not allowed to put adsense on Wordpress?

Take your pick frankly but only have 1 url with unique content or 2 each with unique content from each other.

YuviG - To paraphrase an old literary quotation: A dupe is a dupe is a dupe.

Doesn't matter whether they're blogs or not... you're duping content under different urls.

I'd recommend that you take a look at the Duplicate Content thread that's in the Hot Topic section pinned to the top of the Google Search forum main page....
