Hi Everyone!
I'm slowly beginning to panic and would greatly appreciate your thoughts and suggestions on my dilema.
I was away in September for 2wks and returned to discover that my hosting company had removed my website due to an accounting error. That was quickly resolved and website was back online by the 2nd October. Problem is googlebot stopped by a few times durheing the downtime and recieved 404 error codes and as a result dropped my website completely!

I had very good rankings for my main search terms and now nothing.

I see from my logs that googlebot stopped by yesterday........does this mean I'll be reincluded any time soon? If so do you think I'll get my good positioning back or will I have to start from scratch :-(

Do you think I ned to contact Google and request reinclusion? If so how?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a million

If googlebot is now getting 200 responses from your server, then you are on the road back. Rankings may recover just a bit more slowly compared to how fast the pages get back into the index, but eventually people do see their rankings return after server problems.
