I wasn't exactly sure where to post this so I think this is the right category.

So, for some reason when at one of my customer's office locations and use Google to search the internet and go to www.google.com I get "Google New Zealand" I thought it might be computer specific so I tested it with my own laptop and the same thing happens, connect to the network and google thinks I'm in New Zealand.

Anyway, I checked with the T1 provider here which is Cbeyond (a local telcom here in Denver, Colorado), I checked the Arin.net info for the IP and Arin says the IP is in Denver, Colorado.

I tried a few "what is my IP" sites and they all show a map which shows I am in Denver, Colorado..

I'm not sure how Google is determining that I am in New Zealand?

Any one ever have this problem?

Could you be logged into a Google account where the regional language or settings somehow indicated NZ?

No, because every computer on the network has the same problems, laptops, desktops, the server et...

That really is freaky. Because Google locates your IP and serves it by that or by your PC settings.

Only thing I can think of is some proxy IP open to NZ. Ah but you already checked that.

I guess the prob is with Google then.
