Long time client had website www.firstcompany.com. Fully spidered in Google. Client got bought by another company, who had only a one page "under construction" website at www.secondcompany.com.
We've since built a whole new website for the new company at www.secondcompany.com. Because they also acquired the first client's customers, they want both domains (www.firstcompany.com and www.secondcompany.com) to point to their new website so that the old customers can find the new company. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it spidered under www.secondcompany.com. A site:www.secondcompany.com shows only the supplemental version of their "under construction" page. A site:www.firstcompany.com shows all the pages of the new website - but under the wrong URL.
Do I have to completely unhook the first URL in order to get it spidered under the second? There's no redirects or anything like that going on - both domains point to the exact same file.
