Getting Google to cache a dynamic ASP page

I have obtained a link for a clients website that is listed number 1 on Google for one of their targeted search terms.

The problem is that the page is a dynamic ASP page (Links.asp?LinkCategoryID=1) and Google is refusing to cache it, when you view the cached page it just shows Links.asp (without the ID). I have pointed a few links at the full URL (with the ID) but no success.

The site has not disallowed it by robots.txt or no-follow, is there anything else that I can try?

Which site is in asp - the linking site or your client's site?

Hi, my clients site is just HTML. It's the linking site that is ASP.

Basically they (the linking site) have a links index page (links.asp) and then several link category pages (our link is on Links.asp?LinkCategoryID=1). When the cache is viewed for this page in Google it reverts to links.asp (minus the parameter), so therefore none of the links on any of their pages are cached by Google.

Also a query on Google for 'site:www.linkingsite.tdl anchor text' returns nothing.

I know links from 'link pages' can be useless, but this is a well respected site in the industry and I believe the link to be of high importance. They are also very selective who they link to, so in one way I'm glad of the traffic, but I would also like to feel a bit of the link love too.

Does site:domain.com (without the "www") give you anything?

g1smd - no, nothing

Can I just make it clear (as I don't think I have), when I attempt to view the cache of the page with the link (Links.asp?LinkCategoryID=1) it does show a cache, but the cache it shows is for Links.asp (without the parameter).
