Use old domain or better get a new one?

Is a 4 year old burned domain of any use?

- PR greyed out
- site:domain.com show 2 sub pages but not the main page.

Is the fact that the domain is already 4 years old of any help? Is it better to re-use this burned domain or get a new one?
