Google Vehicles - car search results include new search box

I just typed car for sale mytown st into Google and it presented me with a vehicle search tool -- continued and got a spread-sheet style listing of cars for sale in the area.

How long has this been available?

The beginnings go back at least to spring of 2006. See this thread in our Local Search forum:

That's funny. I wonder if each car is subject to Google's Quality Guidelines ;)

"Make a car with a functioning steering wheel and brakes. Every knob should be reachable from at least one static passenger."

...kinda makes it useless to put up a site like "placenamecarsforsale.xyz"

I don't see any Ads by Google in the results -- but how long will it be?

The tool, for now just aggregates individual car for sale pages (from eBay, "cars.tld", etc), but does not kick in for truck for sale mytown st or vehicle for sale mytown st or other variations of "car".
