Old pages deleted from the index but still assigned PR?

I have a, purely for vanity reasons and to attract link partners, a PR page ranking tool that automatically shows the visitor the PR of the page.

My site is 200 pages in size and used to have all pages indexed - recntly though it fell and now sits at 75.

However the page rank tool, and further testing, has proved old pages that used to have PR and that are still on the site do have the old PR assigned to them. On further testing all my pages that had PR still have it, bot do not appear in the site: command.

Proof the site: command no longer shows the full picture?

My site, although a page rank 5, has 2 PR 6 pages on the site.

Anyone else seeing this?
