Hey guys, im fairly new to SEO and I wanted to hear from you guys what I should do about some SEO work on my new site.

My SEO Background:
I've been doing a little SEO for a previous couple of sites of mine with about 5,000 and 30,000 content entries.

The site with 5,000 entries was scraped by google not long ago and thus far 6-15 unique people visit the site per day.

The site with 30,000 entries has been running for 1 year and has accumilated 5,000 unique visitors, and 1700 keywords.

I'd like a little more knowledge about SEO.

Cheers.

Hello solidcore, and welcome to the forums.

One place to start is this long-time prize winning thread, linked below. Yes, it's 5 years old, but the essence of it is still where it's at. For long term success, you're better off building quality than hoping ofr a trick or loophole you can exploit.

Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone [webmasterworld.com]

That thread is always easy to find - it's in our Hot Topics area [webmasterworld.com], which is always pinned to the top of this forum's index page. There's a lot more juice in all those "Hot Topics" threads - plenty of fodder for learning the ropes.
