Now when I search Google for the phrase "widget museum" both domains are ranking in positions 1 and 2, respectively. Previously, the "big-widgets.com" site never ranked for this phrase as there was no "museum" content on it before last month.
I am concerned that Google may incorrectly think I am spamming the index with dup content even though there is no dup content online, it's all in Google's caches. How do I get Google to drop any references to the 301'd site? I want to avoid any spam and dup content problems for the "big-widgets.com" site. Is there any way to alert Google about this issue? Where do I tell Google to drop any references to the original "widget museum" site?
