Hello,

I'm suddenly loosing my rankings on Google SERPs.I didn't modify anything in my pages and the site is the same that 2 years ago, with naturally optmized pages,so,why I'm loosing rankings without any apparent reason?
Did anyone come across a similar situation?

Thanks for your feedbacks

Sincerely

i think you may have answered your own question.

if you have not updated it in 2 years the SE's may think it is a bit stale and could be outdated now.

this is only my opinion and it may not be that at all. don't forget the big daddy update happened recently, so it could just be the new algo doesn't like your site as much as the old one did.

there are others that believe "no changes" signals quality.
Probably, what you are experiencing is bigdaddy. With it came a devaluation of reciprocal links and the deindexing of many pages throughout the web. If you check your backlinks and the pages they came from, you will notice (at least in my case) some of the pages with those links on them are now either pr0 or even pr n/a.
Check with site:mysite and inurl:mysite and see what it shows in google.
Check your backlinks in Yahoo using linkdomain: and follow those.

Also, check any outbound links from your site to make sure those websites are still what they used to be. Outbound links to "bad neighborhoods" can do you some real damage.
