my site in google directory was ranked PR4 , now today i see that there is no PR appearing near my domain listed in google directory ( i am near the last position), but my browser toolbar shows me PR4, i like to know whether my PR becomes "0" . because my SERPS ranking also getting worse day by day, Is there is any connection betweeen google directory and SERPS, my site is a white hat site and i follow all google terms, but my competitors doing keyword stuffing and other tricks and they are still in the first position.

What would be the reason for no PR details in google directory for my site. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

thanks

The PR indicator in the directory is wrong for my site too. I would not be too concerned about this.

Google does not use toolbar PR or directory PR to warn you about anything. Listen to that first friendlyanswer - have no worries.

PR indicator, LOl, this should be renamed to IR - irrelevancy indicator.

One reason would be a confusion between the www and non-ww versions of the site, which of course is a sign of a problem.

The Google directory PR is not calculated by 10s but by 7s as I recall so the same space for the little green bar is not the same as what you see on the Toolbar.

There is an article explaining how to calculate directory PR somewhere on the net.

Getting into the Google directory and thus the PR on that page is another reason why getting into DMOZ is important because there is no other way to get into the Google directory.
