For the past two weeks i've tried to get indexed on Google without results. Tried with links related to content and from sites with alot of google traffic, yet Google hasn't even indexed the index pages (this test goes for 2 differen sites/domains)..

As we speak i also figured out that the site now has gotten /index.php indexed. Yet Google doesn't find the site by "www.domain.com".

On top of that it has ignored site #2 totally.

A third site that got out a bit earlier has been indexet "fully" but it ranks lower then the actual site that sends one link to this "Seo'oed" site.

Give it a little time. Once you site is found or in my case a new article is found it will often drift in and out for a while.

Well yeah, i am not new to the "old google system". It's the new Big Daddy i want to find out more about. Why is it taking this much time, why isn't it indexing the index-page correct, etc.

But maybe you ment the bigdaddy version :)

I meant recently though I observed this even before big daddy. I think I first noticed it in the fall of 05. But then things were churned up even before BD. It's hard to predict anything anymore.

Hopefully some others will get in here with their observations.

I have the feeling that Google needs some time from crawling to include the page in index. If your page is linked from PR5 it will be much faster than if the page is PR2 to include it in index.

But anyway, Google bot shows a lot activity and Yahoo's slurp significantly less but Yahoo include almost all pages they crawl, and Google crawl much more than include pages in index.

It will need some time. I've just started one new site and even if it have some deep PR5+ links it still is not indexed after 4 days.

But anyway, links does help so if you just have crap links... try to find some better ones.

few good links will do the job, got to be patient though, as it now takes much longer for new sites to be indexed (post BD)

About the links.
I have about 4 inlinks pr4-5. Two of the sites is content related.

About the time.
Yeah, doesn't seem better. After 2-3 weeks google would had normally indexed alot of pages from a domain. New domains also seem to rank really bad, not like before.. Before = Find a good keyword and get quite an nice rank from start.

Make sure that they are getting and indexing only www or non-www, but not both.

Well that depends on how you link on the site.
So that would be the persons error :)

But thanks for the warning, well aware
