I'm a webmaster at my company, we currently have 7 or 8 sites, 1 main site and a bunch that act as feeder sites. I've registered the major site on google tools and verified using the meta tag method, my question is if I add my other feeder sites to the same google log-in will it put 2 and 2 together, realize that all the sites are owned by the same people and stop viewing the links from between the websites as valuable? Is this an issue or would Google of already gained this information from elsewhere eg. whois?

Any help would be appreciated.

Odds are that Google already sees the connection. But that's not a certainty, so I can understand your concern. What advantage would you hope for in registering your feeder sites? Can you get that data another way?

I have a few sites within the same account and some links between each site where it is relevant, and I don't think there have been any adverse effects, at least that I can see.

Hope that helps.

thanks for the feedback, the only advantage I was looking for was that the data would all be together and I wouldnt need to keep logging in and out to view the information. It was really just an organizational thing. I think just to be safe I'll create a new acount and store the other websites under that.
