Google Sitemaps - 5xx error

"Unreachable URLs" that really are reachable

I submitted simple text sitemaps for subdomains 2 weeks ago. All have been assigned a status of "OK", but when I look at the crawl stats of pages under these subdomains, it lists the URLs on my sitemaps as "unreachable URLs", with "5xx error" indications. The "last calculated" dates of the crawls vary, and there's no way my site has been down this frequently. I click the URL links that are listed on the crawl stats and they all work. Any ideas?

Thanks for the tip tex! I downloaded Xenu and ran one of my subdomains through it. It returned 500 errors also. I have no clue why this is happening since I'm looking at the pages just fine in my browser. My site runs cold fusion. The problem URLs have this structure:
[subdomain.domain.com...] does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Thanks!

Error 500 can occur if there's a bug in the script. If so, from your description it sounds like it's triggered by something in the request.
