When Google Blue Bar Has a Link For Books

Hey Guys:

I have just noticed that the Google blue bar which contains the number of results for a search (on the right hand side) has a "Books" link on the left hand side, the results are all garbage.

Can anyone else confirm this?

I can't confirm it this way:
books-links > garbage SERPs

..and I'm not sure how to check the logic the way you stated it:
garbage > books-links.

Nevertheless, it might be the sign of a currently buggy attempt to expand the Universal Search offerings [webmasterworld.com].

Right below the Google Icon
In a pale blue bar

I have noticed that when the Books option shows up in the blue bar under the Google Icon, the SERPS are a mess.

It looks like this to me:

Google Icon

Web Books (Books is a hyperlinked category)
On the left

Results 1-10 of about 1,740,000 for widgets [definition]. (0.14 seconds)
On the right

Anyone?

Yes, I can confirm it... for the search I just did it shows: Products being hyperlinked on the left side.
