2007-09-05 - rustybrick reports a new option added to the Time in the Google Advanced Search.

The Google Advanced Search page has added new date parameters to the date option drop down. Prior, I believe they only had the option to choose by the past 3, 6 or 12 months. Now you can also search by past 24 hours, week, month or 2 months.

A little topic jumpstart...

This can be very useful for SEOs and Webmasters who want to see all new pages added to Google within a certain time frame.

I'd like to see the inverse of this, too - find the oldest mention of the search terms. I suppose that's technically more challenging given frequent page revisions, etc, but it would be very helpful in several scenarios.

The argument is as_qdr in the URL

You can add your own variations:

As well as day (d), you can use two days (d2), three days (d3) etc.

In fact, the same goes for month (m) and year (y)

Yes,you can change the "as_qdr" var with manually edit the url, and I know a simple way can do that with a simple click.
