Vanishing and reappearing listings

I have a PR5 E Commerce site that has been around for about two years. Natural listings have been ranking well on Google and Yahoo for about a year now. Google ranking is on average 25th worldwide and 6th on Google UK for many difficult key phrases. I don’t use Google Adwords due to cost.

The problem is that every so often all my key phrases on Google vanish for 3 or 4 days at a time for no apparent reason, and then reappear. It’s really frustrating as I have many competitors that don’t have this problem.

Are you always looking at the same datacentre every time?

Check the IP address of where the results have come from.

I have been checking 24 data centres.

My search phrases have not been showing again since Thursday last week, but this time I am not alone!
