Today I concentrated on Google (GGL) localized data centers outside of the US and what I found is pretty startling.
Steps:
1. Go to Google France data center [66.102.11.104...]
2. type in site:www.yahoo.com
3. click the "Rechercher les pages en français" button
4. click the "Rechercher Google" to conduct the search
3. 1-3 results should be displayed
Do the same for the Yahoo! homepage
Steps:
1. Go to Google data center [66.102.11.104...]
2. type in site:www.yahoo.com/index.html
3. click the "Rechercher les pages en français" button
4. click the "Rechercher Google" to conduct the search
5. click the cache button (En cache)
6. March 22, 2006 should be the last cache date
If you would like to try a different language, simply edit the letter after hl= and lr=lang_ in the original Google search. For example, Germany would be hl=de and lr=lang_de [66.102.11.104...]
Also...I will post the Google data centers I monitor throughout the day here: [webmasterworld.com...]
If any GGL data centers listed do not work, please advise the thread. Also, if you know of any GGL data centers and they're not listed below, please advise the thread as well. The more eyes we have on these DC's the better, IMO.
