Hello all,
I'm aware that this has been discussed in the past by my question does vary from those I've seen here in the past. Okay so I was asked by my boss to identify our supplemental pages and write a brief report on how to have them readmitted to google. Now I've done my research and understand all that needs to be done however I cannot work out exactly how to tell which pages are supplemental.
When I search google for my company (eg. www.mycompany.com) I bring up thousands of pages and although I've looked through perhaps as many as 30 of the pages I'm yet to find a page that shows the words 'supplemental page' beneath in green as it has been mentioned on other boards that it would do. So I return to google and search for 'site:www.mycompany.com ***' which apparently shows me all of my supplemental pages, again none of these tell me they are supplemental however as I've done a specific search I wouldnt expect them to anyway. the problem is there is 484 pages and they include all of my major pages, is this correct because my site is held in wide regard by all of the major search engines? so to summarize my question is are the 484 results all supplemental and if so how are they all my major pages which all contain unique information and why arent they then affected in the google rankings as a result of their status?

Sorry if this is a bit long. Any help would be appreciated

thanks
Gareth

Google recently removed the "supplemental" information from the listings that they show us. Yet another attempt to get us to focus on building our websites naturally, and stop worrying and doing artificial things to change what Google thinks about our websites.

Just search for www.domain.*
This will tell you exactly which pages are NOT supplemental, that's it.

Wait a few weeks, the suppl. index will be searchable soon as announced by Google.

That is a bit ambiguous.

Google no longer puts the words "Supplemental Result" on any of the results that come from that index.
