I have been hammering away at trying to get backlinks to my website, but they haven't showed up on google yet. Anybody hear when the next google backlink update will be?

You should not use the Google backlink tool anymore. They do not show all of them, use MSN or Yahoo.

You will notice the effects of new backlinks when your ranking goes up in the SERPs! this is all you should be worried about.

I understand that msn and yahoo show them, but you gotta remember that google doesn't count every backlink.
