I am not sure where exactly to post this because I am unsure as to where the problem lies. I have a site that does not utilize any SSL. The site does utilize Google Analytics and Google Sitemap. It does not have Adsense.
Today I logged into the forum and I got a popup "Security Alert" with a warning that "The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site." But the site does not use SSL. The certificate is issued to www.google.com. I don't understand why I am getting this error and it happened twice on 2 different machines. The only reference I have to google is the Analytics snip on the pages. Both the machines I used to access the site also has the G toolbar installed. I did a view source on the 2 pages this happend on and there is no reference to google at all except for the Analytics snip. I have had the site map and analytics set up on this site for well over a year.
I don't get it. No SSL on this end, yet I get this popup. Any clue as to what is going on? I would appreciate any enlightenment.
