Should I link back to my press coverage using nofollow?

Will linking to it without nofollow make Google think it's a link exchange?

I linked some blog and press coverage without using nofollow and was wondering if that's the best way.

Will linking to it without using nofollow make Google think it's a link exchange? Will it decrease value somehow?

I noticed linking to one positive press article has increased that article in the SERPS.

Why negate the value of a one way link?

Unless the site your press release is on is highly relevant to your site, I wouldn't even mention it on my site, never mind nofollowing it.

Reciprocal linking between niche sites is natural and not something to be automatically scared of.

If a reputable press outlet reviews my site, I link to the review when possible, partly as a courtesy and partly because it adds to the credibility of the snippet that I quote.

Unfortunately, mainstream media often have a habit of changing URLs or shoving articles into a pay-per-view archive after a while, so much of the time I just settle for quoting a short excerpt and attributing it to the writer and publication.
