There was something very strange happen to one of my sites 4 days ago I thought was worth mentioning here to see if anyone have ha d the same experience.

The site in question was a PR6 when during the last December Google update/mess-up it was MANUALY removed from the index. It is not important why it was removed as I am not about to tell you I was an angel and did everything by the book. Lets just say I was experimenting. I wrote to them but to no avail and never got an answer of why the site was removed.

However, the site was manually removed from the index and with PR 0, where it had close to a million indexed pages and the home page was PR6. Since then I had given up on this site and went on to bigger and better things. The site has always been up online and a few months ago I noticed Google had spidered and cashed the home page again for the first time since December. There was still no single index entry or any PR.

Until 4 days ago when the home page and few random internal pages had their PR come back. The home page is PR6 at the moment but still there is no single page in Googles index of the site. I checked all DCs and they all show PR6 for that site and yet not a trace that Google knows about it according to its index. This is either a big malfunction on the Googls PR part or they are reversing the ban the site had. I would really appreciate any comments to help me understand what is going on.
