Google Analytics - Sunday July 29th?

Based on the numbers, I thought my sites were down - but they weren't...

(if this is the wrong message board for this - I apologize to the Admin's - and, obviously, you are free to move it!)

My Google Analytics account was showing very, very, low numbers for Sunday July 29th. Some were showing 0, another 2, and another 19. But, the sites were up and functioning. The e-commerce site had routine order volume (in fact, the e-commerce site had more orders than Google said it had visitors - now THAT would be a great conversion rate!). There were a variety of servers and web sites involved. Only common denominator was my 1 Google Analytics account.

I just wondered if anyone else had the same thing happen to them.

I'm seeing this too, but my HitTail account is showing that I'm still receiving plenty of traffic.

My Analytics account is showing zero visitors for 2 days now... there's some kind of bug or data delay going on... Don't sweat.

On a number of sites, including one of ours, I've seen the same and have noticed that all sites since the 23rd have had a constant decrease in traffic.

Is it just us or has something happened to the big G?

Wow! I'm glad I found this thread. I noticed the same thing on various clients I work with that the traffic was like at 0 - 3 on some and much lower on others. I did some investigating, and am a bit freaked out. Dont know if its a bug, or if we lost alot of rankings.

What else are you guys seeing. Is it a bug, or a change in rankings? Becuase It was showing some traffic!

Our web traffic was 1/2 of the norm on Sunday. Most of the US people must have been enjoying a warm day. Impressions for advertising were way below the norm as well.

Update:

We are starting to update reporting in all Google Analytics accounts affected by the delay. As of 5pm PST this evening, some users will start to see part or all of the data from the period between Saturday and now appear in reports. We expect updates for all accounts to continue through Monday night into tomorrow and will update this blog when reporting is fully restored.
