Submitting Subdomains to Google

Is it necessary? Is it helpful?

After I submit my website to Google (www.example.com), do I have to submit all the subdomains of the website separately (example.example.com) or will Google automatically add them to the search results?

Submitting any urls to Google at all has little to no value these days.

Just make sure that the domain and its subdomains have inbound links from other urls that are already indexed and ranking, and Google will crawl. If inbound links are weak or absent, then even submitting will not do much good - the pages just won't stay in the index.

Thanks for the info tedster, but do you have any ideas as to where I can post links to my website? I'm very new to SEO, so I will appreciate any help I get.
