Hello

I have about 16k pages indexed (not suplemental), site is PR4 and 8-years old

I did not change anything, except i have deleted some pages with questionable content (user contibuted like comments)

My traffic is now about 1/5 or less as usual; I have never seen issue like this one

Help, any thoughts

Thank you

There needs to be more information here to provide clues for folks to respond, but it looks like something that you did in the procedure of removing elements of content from you site could have caused this.

Two things I'd be watching for ; one is how your link architecture has been effected, and two, duplicate content - but really i don't have enough to go on.

Do you know which search terms are affected? Which particular pages? Those would be major clues.

I have got Adsense ads in it, but google blocked my site from account because mature related content. My site has never been any adult oriented conntent, but i did mention it was little forum pages which i have removed instantly.

Furthermore, i have removed forum pages compeltely from my site to avoid any user activity.

Site block was June 1st, traffic remained normal, but before 10 days only 1/5; I am still ranking high for many keywords. I have many google images referals

You have any idea? Does Adsense remove cause traffic drop?

alpacinofr,

If you have a good site (structure and content)just wait and your traffic will be back. It is Summer and Google likes to try new algorithms.

I would suggest you check if your site has been hit by either of the -30 or -950 penalties.

I've checked my rankings. I am still at the first page for many 2-3 words keywords. Rankings are usually in 2-10 mil competition.

Since i have couple of sites i have removed all interlinking in footer, affraid that was caused disastear drop in traffic.

Maybe i need just to wait certain period of time to get traffic again.

recently i have implemented image hotlinking protection, because my images ranking also very well. I don't know is it related to traffic also?

Thank you all for your participation and help
