Every once in a while, we find that Google has indexed a page or two with completely off-the-wall titles. An analogy: the page's real title tag is "Los Angeles Widgets" but the title in Google is something like "Alaska Foo Bars" If you view the source code of the cached page, you'll see that "Los Angeles Widgets" is in our title tag (as well as on the live page). Neither the cached or live pages have anything about Foo Bars or Alaska.

Probably 99.9% of the pages are correct, but every once in a while we see really bizarre results. And of course, the sales reps complain to the IT department because it's obvious *our* fault!

I've had this happen with sites on shared hosting. Just request a dedicated IP address and it will elminate this problem.

It's already on its own server with a dedicated IP address and has been for years.
