Before 27th June 2006, I would never had the idea to ask something like this.

There are 2 small domains with about 100 pages each

german.small-example.com
english.small-example.com

Now I think to organisate this complete different. About 90% of the content of the small domains should be transfered to

german.big-domain.com/2004-spanien
english.big-domain.com/2004-spain

For some month, each old page should be 301 redirected to the new location. The theme matches also one of the main themes in the domain of the new location.

After some month, small-example.com will not be renewed.

Please state Your oppinions.

Special would You estimate a risk for some Google filters?

I wouldn't stop renewing the old domain. Just keep the old domain aswell as the 301. There are always old links pointing to the older domain and you don't want to loose those.

Plus aged domains have good value with the engines.
