I wonder if this can help my search pages:

"Today I wan to go and buy <a href='pageiwantbeindexed'>Blue widget</a>"

And I also wonder if this text can be in my own domain or it is ok only if other domains link to me.

Regards.

The text inside an anchor tag does help to define the topic of the page the anchor points to. That happens both for links within the domain and links from other domains. And if you do it too often with excactly the same text, it can up hurting instead of helping.

How often is "too often"?

You can keep the density of such keywords from 7%-8% of total words in that pages.

the density of keywords may vary depending on the pages in the site and theme of the pages. Also to some extent on the backlinks coming to the site.
