If you ban googlebot from page but not mediapartners, will it show?

I read somewhere that all of the various google bots now share a common cache. Meaning Mediapartners, googlebot, etc... If that's true and you have a robots.txt that allows mediapartners to go after a page, but disallows googlebot, will Google refrain from using that page even though it has the page in the cache from Mediapartners bot?

Do you mean will the page no longer appear in the search results but still display adsense?

If so, then yes that seems to work ok, as I've got a page I disallow Googlebot from but allow mediapartners to. Page isn't in the main index, but does show ads.
