For the past 2 months my traffic has been slowly getting smaller and smaller. I have been updating my site but no real luck. Anyone else noting the same thig? Is the has anyone else seen drop yesterday? I'm hoping its due to the July 4th holiday

Depends on the market, I'd say. Some of my clients did better on July 3, but they are not so dependent on working hours and are in more leisure based markets. But my US clients who are traditionally tied to workplace hours definitely saw a dip on the third.

Monday was roughly 10% down on average, Tuesday was completely normal which surprised me, Wednesday 4th was down about 15% and today, so far, seems more or less normal and going by previous year's metrics this is usual for my sites.
