Hi friends,

I would like to ask how much time does Google indexing time takes? I had submitted my brand new website 6 last week and after 6 days, Google has listed my site on the first page of 100M results. Do you have a stat for indexing time? Ofcourse I used all Google tools to get this but main point is Google's technological improvement is impressive in last years. Thanks Google, thanks that you exist.

Hello erkan, and welcome to the forums.

I agree that Google is a mighty impressive achivement (some would even say it's scary). Sometimes googlebot's hunger for new URLs is amazing -- even without trying or wanting to get something in the index, whoops, there it is.

You may find that your inital rankings fade away after a bit pp this often happens with brand new domains. It's a kind of remnant of the earlier "sandbox phenomenon" that I call the honeymoon period. It's like google is getting an inital take on the value of your site. They boost it for a short term to measure whatever they need to measure about its value in the SERPs, only to drop it down after a while to see how your backlinks grow, check out your trust-ability more in depth, and so on.

Sometimes, when a site catches fire fast, it never loses those first top rankings. May you be so fortunate.
