A site linking to my site Great in google search results

A site linking to my site that has little to nothing to do with my site except we use the same content management system has a link to my site and it's rated 11 in google for that search term, and I'm no where to be found now.

Basically the site linking to me page where the link is has nothing but a link to my site and a little info about it, so My question is, why am I getting penalized? Is it dupe content, not enough links?

I am rated number 13 on yahoo for the same search result, and Was number 1 on msn for a month then I was dropped and now now where to be found.

My page rank when from a 2 to a 1 in the google toolbar. Site is 10 months old, has only a few thinks, but gets posted on with new content weekly.

Sounds like your PR is too low to compete well on this term. Get some more links and things should change. Try going for some social media attention that is appropriately related to your fresh content, for instance.
