Ranking on 3rd page for my own domain name

Established site, but pages with links to it are ranking higher?

I'm sure this has been gone over time and time again but it hasn't really affected me since the old 302 hijack days.
Anyway, I figured this had pretty much been sorted and there are hardly any 302s in my logs so I figured it wasn't this.

Anyway the site has been around for about 5 years and has always done reasonably well. However now, when I type in the domain name it is on page 3 after a list of sites that link to me. Can't figure out why this would be.
Any ideas?

This has been the historical "tell" for the Minus Thirty Penalty [webmasterworld.com]. The discussion of it began last year and is still rolling. The common assumption is that it is manually applied and that it indicates a serious loss of trust in the domain involved.
