Can anyone help me get a solution
I write all the meta title, meta description, backlink, info on index.php, but for the index.htm dont have any meta tag, because it was a flash website. its mean index.php instead of index.htm.

Q1.Do search engine like google will read on my index.php meta to perform the page ranking?

Q2.if both of my index (php and htm) consist meta title, description, which one will get priority 1st?

Q3.Can anyone give me some example? how to get higher ranking on search engine site?

Hello jingwen1314, and welcome to the forums.

Google ranks URLs (not sites or "pages") - and index.php is a different URL from index.htm. Each of those two URLs will be considered on its own. Google will not use the content of a flash file in their ranking calculations, so other factors become most important - meta tags, titles, yes, but also links pointing to the page, the anchor text in those links, and alternative html content for user agents that do not read Flash.

For ideas about how to get good rankings with Google, I'd suggest you start by reading this classic post:

thanks...a lot
if i change my meta description of URL, how long do the search engine get responses?

for example, my meta descri have a < word1 word2 > keyword,
I able to find my site by keyin this keyword on google, but now i remove this word. how long do search engine ignore the searching result?

if i add more meta descri keyword, how long do the search engine get responses?

jingwen1314 - Meta keyword tags and meta descriptions are simply not very useful in getting a page to rank. They may have been many years ago, but that was a great many years ago now.

The head title element, technically not a meta tag, is one of your most important onpage elements, but generally you're going to need support from onpage content and relevant inbound links to that content before you're likely to rank on anything competitive.

It's therefore helpful to have excellent content on your pages, content so good that people will tend to bookmark it or link to it. On Google, the effects of that kind of content building and linking can take a year or longer to produce results.
