Hi,

We go to a page at subdomain.yahoo.com, it has PR3, but when I try to see the cashed snapshot of page, it did not match any documents.

What happened?

A Page can be have PR3 but not cashed, why?

Its a common question on this forum. Could be a few different reasons. Any or non of the following:

Your domain could be banned form Google.
It could be that your looking at the Toolbar PageRank which isnt a true reflection of your pagerank.
Google may have found the link to your subdomain, passed PR value but the googlebot has yet to reach your domain.

Have a look at some previous comments:

Maybe it's a Google bug?

I looked at a Google cache of a page in a well known and respected site with a PR3 a couple of weeks ago with a cache date of early may. Now the page seems to have disappeared from the index, as well as the cache.

There have indeed been some issues going on with Google's page-cache display in recent weeks. I believe this was acknowledged by some of the Google personnel attending the recent SMX Advanced Conference in Seattle.

If it's due to this current bug at Google, I expect it'll get resolved within a few days/weeks.

Additionally, you didn't add a META tag onto the page to direct the search engines not to display the cache, did you? If so, you could've caused the cached version to be unavailable.

Ex:

<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOARCHIVE">

Are you trying to see the cache via the Toolbar, or directly from right at the Google site?
