two domains. 1. Main Site 2. Named Site pointing #1 both high rank

Duplicate content.

Hi group! "I" would think this would qualify as duplicate content... maybe it is because g--gle is ranking sites with the "name" as the domain more valuable.
For example main site is ranked #1 (no problem good site)

1.) www."my-city-town".com which has all the content.
and then on every page has links to below.

4.) www."name-of-my-city"-info.com which has
either has duplicate pages to 1.)
or just points content back to 1.)

What is the difference in 4.) just being a link farm?
How g--gle can't see the duplicate content is beyond me... exact pictures and words.

Mind you.. this is a competitive market.
Maybe it is because g--gle is ranking sites with the "name" as the domain more valuable far above any algorithm and duplicate content can filter out.
