I have a .com site that ranks first page for my desired keyword on google.co.uk but isnt listed when you search for "pages in the uk".

At the min my .co.uk name just points at the .com.

Is there a better way of doing this? Or is it just google up to there tricks?

Many thanks in advance

All of the major search engines use two common factors to determine geo-location: (1) the presence of a Country Code Top Level Domain name (CC TLD, as in "somesite.co.uk"), or (2) the physical location of the server based on its IP address. Since you have a .com domain, you'll need to get it hosted on a server that's physically located in the UK in order to appear in the UK only searches. And don't assume because the hosting company's domain ends in .uk that they have servers inside the country.

Are your pages in the UK? That's what people are searching for when they select that box. If so, then look at the advice above. If not, just be happy people don't search that way too often (in my experience).
