How to search for products outside your country

Google always returns local UK results

Trying to search for mobile (cell) phones in the US, as I'll be moving there soon. I'm located in the UK. Whenever I type in something like

K810i USA

I only get results from UK shops selling the phone.

Google advanced search doesn't seem to allow me to filter/change geographical options. Is there a way of doing this? Although I can see the point of targeting commercial listings relative to the viewer's location, it seems a bit of a limitation if you can't opt to turn that off, in situations like my own!

Use the "go to Google.com [google.com]" link under the search box of google.co.uk

Just tested that with one of my regular searches - format "widgets in location" where location exists in UK and USA.

Same UK results in top five on UK and web searches in .uk as well as in .com. I did'nt bother scrolling down.
