Hello everyone
We are waiting to launch our new website by mid June. The designer came to meet us last week and showed us a website he designed recently for a clients having page rank of 4. I asked him how long its takes him to achieve PR 4. But I am surprised to hear that he spent only 5 days to achieve PR4 though the website just being created .Will anyone here will tell me. Is it possible to get page rank 4 in 5 days after the site launch? If yes than

1.Is this the result excellent on page optimisation? Or any tricks lied behind this achievement

Many thanks

You may need to ask him for more details.

Visible page rank is published by Google on a (roughly) three monthly cycle; the one you see is ALWAYS at least three months out of date.

New sites do acquire page rank for Google's INTERNAL use, as soon as they are spidered ... but an SEO has no means of knowing what it is.

I think he may have mislead you, probably entirely by accident, but possibly utterly on pupose ;)

one of my websites also had a PR of 3/10 within a few days. it then went away for a while and then came up again as 3/10.

yes but its worth nothing, also dont think that much about PR anymore, you see a lot of low PR rank these days.

Haven't looked at that PR thang in over a year. It's still out there?
