So here is my situation. I worked very hard till I reached first page on Google with my main keyword. But couple of days ago I have lost my position with it and I can’t find my site even on the 25th page.
Firstly I thought that it is a common google trick and during a few days my site will appear on the first page again (all the time I was talking about Google.co.uk). But today I found out that on other google (.de, .us, .it, and ext.) I still have my old rankings (Top10).
So have anybody of you guys faced with such problem and what would you recommend me to do in order to come back to my old rankings.

Thanks,

Donatas

axxe - You don't say whether you have other versions of this site with .de, .us, or .it tlds.

There is another current thread which is discussing the situation of duplication in a multiple tld situation. I recommend you read that first, as well as the referenced thread in the Promotion forum, as they also cover topics of hosting and inbound links, which could be what is affecting you.

Duplicate Content on Localised Search

Please clarify if you're talking about a .co.uk domain, with UK hosting and UK inbounds, or whether you have a .com tld with hosting outside the UK.

Hi Robert,

Yes I own two domains. With de and co.uk tld, but both of these sites has different content. So I don’t think that this problem could be related with duplicate content.
Actually the problem could be in hosting. Cause as I mentioned I possess a co.uk domain with hosting outside the UK.

So if the problem is that, what could you recommend me to do? I could buy a UK hosting but would it solve this problem?

The link Robert provided you with does have some good tips which are worth applying even if you don't have duplicate content problems.

But to be of more help, folks here will have to know more details, like :

- How long has your site been indexed
- What does "worked hard" mean. What have you done, added inbound links , in what quantity etc etc.
- Are the pages being crawled.

There are so many things that could be effecting you. Different Google DC's can kick in with results produced at any time.

Hi Whitney,

Co.uk domain is indexed for almost a year now. To optimize my site I have done various seo things, from submitting my site to various directories, exchanging links with relevant sites, to writing on topic articles, taking part in various forums and blogging, and I have never used any black hat seo tricks.
The last time googlebot visited my site was last Saturday, so I don’t see any problems here too.
Actually I already saw sites vanishing from top 10 and coming back to it after couple of weeks and I do hope the same will happen with my site, but if you have any good suggestions I will be pleased to hear it.

Thank you for helping me Whitney. It is very much appreciated.
