Is any differenze between 10 Backlink from different sites in same IP vs 10 Backlink from 10 sites in different IP?

If i had a choice i would always choose diversity rather than one source. If the SE's were to lower the rank of that single IP address you take a bigger hit, but you could still use one-way links to move traffic around.
