Seeing a new look for search results. If you want to see it clear your cookins and put this in your address bar:

javascript:document.cookie="PREF=ID=fddb01133a87d314:LD=en:CR=2:TM=1177334998:LM=1177334998:GM=1:S=OOg0FEVzpPplxe9J;path=/;domain=.google.com"

Thanks, outrun. To clarify, these are the steps:

1. Clear cookies
2. Paste the JavaScript into your address bar
3. Press Enter
4. Do a Google search

Interesting..

this follows Google eye tracking usability testing a while back...where the users visual hot spot hover around the Google logo and radiate out ...

Putting Google's other primary links at the top , then the Products link .. (effectively froogle data ...though the link is not the froogle root url) .. and related searches ...and removing any text along the horizontal line where the number of results value used to be...this now drops the eye down vertically creating broader and deeper page view sequence possibilities...more page views within means more ad serving and revenue generation opportunities...

This "clutters" the page a bit...but Google's strategy from day one has always been to keep their interface as sparse as possible...now they are testing a bit more complexity...

NOTE: That's correct...if your browser shows that PREF string as simple text and nothing else...then the cookie has been set...now go to the main Google interface and do a search...

That's what you get when you press Enter with the javascript in the address bar. Next, you need to navigate to Google and do a search.
